About Myself
 
I am a senior at Phoenix High School, I have attended this school for the second year. Phoenix is so fun, and the fact that it gives me a chance to get ahead over my peers. I have been interested in the culinary field since I was about 10 years old. I love to work with food. I see it as a way to express myself through my food.
 
Experience
My previous work experience has been with Air Force Village II. The Village is owned by Sodexho Marroit.
The job titles that I was doing there were; Salad Prep. Cook, Window Line Cook, Serving Line Cook, and dishwasher.
The job duties for a Salad Prep. Cook were: To fill refill crocs and spare tubs, make 8 salads for Sunday
Brunch, set-up buffet lines, carve sometimes on Sunday Brunch. Also I would have to run an omelet station with 4
burners to serve our customers.
Window Line Cook: Set-up the window for the dinner menu, when wait staff drops their orders, group the
orders first, and finish them as fast as possible. The menu consisted of burgers, sandwiches, chicken salad Caesar
salad, and seafood. The seafood would be made to ordered fried, blacked, or broiled.
Serving Line Cook: Serve the customer what they wanted to eat, portion the food just right. When the food
would get low in the wells I would replenish the food. Every night the line had 3 specials, 1 chicken, 1 beef or pork,
and the last is 1 fish.
Dishwasher: Take out dishes from the bus carts. Wash all the dishes and the silver ware, place clean dishes
in the proper racks. Wash and sometimes scrub down pots and pans the cooks have to offer. Deliver food to
Freedom House. When closing time comes I would have to sweep and mop the front and back of the line, and the
whole kitchen. On Tuesday and Friday mornings, I would have to check in and put away our Marroit Distribution
(M.D.S.), SYSCO, Oak Farms, and Ms. Baird?s orders.
 
My Interests
Well As you know I do happen to enjoy cooking. I also like to go out, play my bass, and trying to find a band to mess around with. I love art, I can only express myself through art with music and food. Making the food delicous and presentable is what reall makes me happy.
